This piece is created using a high-precision 3D-printed wax model, which is then cast through the lost-wax process. The wax is melted away to form a mold, into which molten metal is poured. Once cooled, the piece is carefully cleaned, polished, and finished by hand. The photos shown here depict the silver cast; other materials are also available.
